Jaime Lopez is a loner who chooses to stay in his LA apartment after Romero Day. He is a resourceful survivor who deeply hates cats because of a childhood trauma related to the movie "Alien".
Flacco is the cat-loving and ruthless leader of the gang that controls what’s left of LA. After gang mascot Fleas Witherspoon dies, he orders his men to find a new cat. He’s everybody’s nightmare.
Jonesy is Troy’s cat. He travels in one of those bubble carriers that allows him to see and be seen. Seemingly a typical butt-licking cat, he’ll change all the lives around him.
Troy is a Marine who breaks into Jaime’s building with his cat. He convinces Jaime to let him stay for one night in exchange for medicine. Troy believes Jonesy can scare zombies.
Destiny is Flacco’s most loyal soldier. She's the original owner of Fleas and blames Flacco for her death. Her resentment leads her to defy Flacco’s authority.
Zombies Zombie Cholo, Parking Lot Zombie, Zombie Bieber, Zombie Girl, Zombie Einstein, RuPaul Zombie, Carrot Head Zombie, Mailwoman Zombie, and all other zombies have different backgrounds but only one goal. Having lunch.
Supporting
Flacco (see above) is in the habit of nicknaming gang members by their looks, personality, or occupation. Among them, Ricky Martin, Bill Gates, Jughead, Sloppy Nuts, Joey Ramone, Jughead, Amy Winehouse, Telemundo, Boomer, and Mandela. Flacco won't like it, but these names can be adjusted if non-compliant with parody laws.
